So you know where my allegiances lie, while I don't necessarily believe in ghosts, I don't NOT believe either. Mainly because you can't prove a negative (i.e., you can't prove something doesn't exist). I am, however, very interested in ghost movies, and ghost stories. Even though I am a pretty big wuss, and they more often than not creep me out.... So I decided to pick up this collection of short ghost stories, because I didn't feel like sleeping for awhile...This is basically a collection of stories told to the author from many different people, about their paranormal experiences. They have then be sort of retold through the author's words, obviously.
While i thought I was getting something akin to Joe Hill's "20th Century Ghosts", or something like that, what I actually got was something like those "true life ghost story" TV shows. Even so, I did enjoy this book. It was creepy enough to keep me reading all the way through.
I would recommend this to anyone that wants to hear true to life ghost stories. Or should I say, true to DEATH?!?! Sorry......

An ok read for a cold winters night if you like ghosts. Could of done with a few more stories though.
this book was okay but I would not reccomend it to any of my friends. I did not think it had ant substance
Just a good, quick book to read, when you don't want a long story to read. Something to pass the time.
stories were simple....too simple. This is a compilation of ghost stories without any follow up or proof of the actual haunting. The book was unsatisfying to say the least. Don't waste your time with this one.
